"As a dance artist in NYC I found myself needing to shoot videos of my own work. At first to document it, and then to submit is as part of an application process. Over time I became more familiar with the technology that went along with this and finally obtained a new video camera and a computer. I also found myself undertaking many video editing, sound editing, and DVD authoring responsibilities with the dance company I was dancing with. Inspired and seeking a new skill, my interest in video led me to computers. I decided to delve into web design. I picked up my first HTML book and after a couple years, many books, classes, and practice I found myself creating web sites. With the combined knowledge of web design, video, and audio I formed Digital Media Cooperative.
